BioPower is a catalyst for strong and innovative partnerships between the government, private sector and ICRISAT. One of the mechanisms for establishing these novel three-way partnerships is the Agri-Business Incubator facility of the Agri-Science Park at ICRISAT Headquarters in Patancheru, Andhra Pradesh, India.

The Agri-Science Park is the means by which ICRISAT fosters the uptake of its most promising technologies by the private and public sectors, in order to accelerate their impact to benefit the dryland poor. The Park and the Incubator provide a hub where the public and private sectors can exchange ideas and work hand-in-hand to create a seamless, expeditious flow of innovation from lab to land.

ICRISAT, including BioPower are investigating ways to spread this innovative Incubator model to Africa.
