Hyderabad│18 June 2018: Are you looking to start an agribusiness? Then this is for you. A 20-day Agribusiness Start-up Program will be held at Hyderabad to offer sessions on how to start and manage agribusiness operations. Organized by the Agri-Business Incubator (ABI) of ICRISAT, in association with The Entrepreneur Zone (TEZ), has invited applications for its 2nd batch of trainings.
The program, held on Fridays and Saturdays, offers covers sessions on emerging trends and start-up opportunities in the sector, identifying market gap & customer-product mapping models, crafting go-to-market strategies, understanding business financials and regulatory compliances, and managing partnerships, networks and team building. It will include company visits, mentor sessions from investors and industry experts, and business development assistance from the incubator.
The first edition of the program had 19 participants, mostly working professionals interested in starting their own ventures. Participants were encouraged to test their ideas and validate the models using the learning from the program, and several of them have set up their business operations on organic farming, primary processing, and value-addition.
Aspiring entrepreneurs, start-ups and SMEs, professionals, students, consultants and NGOs operating or planning to start an enterprise in agribusiness domains such as food processing, poultry, aquaculture, floriculture, agri-biotechnology, digital agriculture, farm mechanization and agricultural supply chain management, are invited to apply for the program at www.tez.co.in latest by July 4, 2018. The program starts on July 13, 2018.
