Short-duration pigeonpea a game changer

Promoting short-duration pigeonpea varieties in non-traditional areas like Rajasthan state of India has multiple benefits for the farmer as well as for women. It also has the potential to meet the unfulfilled domestic demand for the pulse and reduce the dependence on imports.
